This track "River of Blood" was inspired by the massacre of the same name, upon the Bundjalung aboriginal people in Evans Head in the Northern Rivers of NSW.
The loss of life, culture and the enduring effects on their people and other indigenous communities in Australia is close to my heart.
Being given the opportunity to learn more about this history and just some of the culture of the Bundjalung Nation from some wonderful people has been an immense privilege for me.
I offer respect to all the traditional custodians of this land and to their elders past and present.
